Laban’s reasoning and excuse for the trick he played on Jacob doesn’t change the fact that Jacob is married to the wrong woman. His beloved Rachel is still not his wife. The employee (Jacob) did not get the agreed upon payment (permission to marry Rachel) from his employer (Laban) for the agreed upon time he worked (7 years). But alas, the employer (Laban) has a new arrangement he is offering his employee (Jacob).
Genesis 29:27 starts out by saying, ‘fulfill her week,' who said this?
Who is ‘her?’
What does ‘fulfill her week’ mean?
What new arrangement is being offered to Jacob by Laban?
