I read this statement today from a devotional book ...

Man cannot endure without God.

My thoughts ...

The challenges of life can sometimes be overwhelming ... I need God!

I cannot get to heaven without God's great gift ... I need God!

I cannot endure without God!

Today I saw a little girl who looked to be about 5 years old coming out of a store with who, I assumed, was her daddy.  The little girl was hopping and skipping and chattering away to her daddy like a typical 5 year old would.  Instead of the daddy 'tuning her out' as he was walking along beside, he instead was leaning over listening to her. She was chattering and he was patiently listening as he guided them to their vehicle.  The daddy was so attentive, it was obvious that he loved her dearly.

That's how God treats His children. He patiently listens to us, is attentive to what we need and guides our every step in our journey toward Heaven.  He dearly loves those who have chosen Him!
