The bride, as was the custom, was taken to the groom’s tent at the appointed time completely covered, in silence and in darkness to become his wife ...
It’s the morning after and Jacob has just gotten the surprise of his life. What was his surprise and how did he react?
Do you think Leah willingly went along with her father’s plan? If so, what would have prompted her to do such a thing?
Whether Leah willingly participated in her father’s deceitful plan or not is not known but indications are that she had fallen in love with Jacob, after all she had had 7 years to get to know him. How does Jacob feel about Leah?
