Those who fail to pray because they do not feel close to God may not
feel close to God because they fail to pray. You have to spend time with God. God
gave each and everyone one of us free will. We all have a choice. God isn’t
going to come busting in like gang busters to get us to spend time with Him. He
leaves that ‘choice’ up to us. When I say ‘spending time’ that means reading
your Bible, meditating on His word, and spending regular time in prayer with
Him. He’s not going to hunt you down. He wants you to draw near to Him, to seek
Him out.
